Hello and welcome to the Pumpkins page. One of the best bands in the world. Billy Corgan's lyrics are some of the best I have ever heard, if not the best.
They are coming our with a new album, MACHINA/the machines of God, to be unleashed on Feb. 29th, 2000. From what I've heard, it will be a great album. I can't wait to hear the whole album. They have a song out right now called The Everlasting Gaze. It is another great song in a long list of greats by Smashing Pumpkins.
Recently bassist D'Arcy Wretky left the band. She did play the bass parts on the upcoming album, but then departed fromthe band after the recordings. To replace her, former Hole bassist, Melissa Auf Der Maur was brought in.
Smashing Pumpkins are currently touring Europe.
